Is baseball dangerous for anyone besides the umpire?

Answered By Bob Hanneck, Editor

Yes. It is because there are some instances when the ball was struck strongly and reached audience side. The ball can hit the audiences and can cause them several damages. There are also some cases when the pitcher overthrown the ball and accidentally injured the batter in the head.
